Welcome to An Illustrated History of Connecticut License Plates.

These pages contain historical information as well as plentiful photos of Connecticut license plates through the years - from 1905 to the present day. While admittedly not a complete compendium, it is nonetheless hopefully one of the most thorough resources available on the internet at present. New information and pictures are constantly being added. Keep checking back!

Most of the photos here are from my personal collection, with contributions from Mike Barnes.
